“Bishop believes government won’t allow hero’s burial for Marcos”

I am so sorry for this hypocritical comment from my church. Another way of fomenting division instead of unity!

Clearly the good Bishop have had some lapses from the teaching of the Church, and I would like to remind him that it is written, as it was read today in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist:
The LORD said to Moses, “Speak to the whole Israelite community and tell them: Be holy, for I, the LORD your God, am holy; “You shall not bear hatred for your brother in your heart. Though you may have to reprove your fellow man, do not incur sin because of him. Take no revenge and cherish no grudge against your fellow countrymen. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. [Lev 19:1-2/17-18]

And Jesus said: “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.” [Matt 5:44]

If we, Christians and Catholics, really believe in GOD and in JESUS, we MUST follow what GOD and JESUS wants us to do. Then, peace and unity will come upon us and with it our beloved country will be blessed and we will attain economic growth and political stability.
