A plain and simple strategic political move of a trapo, this is what Mr.Zubiri’s resignation is all about.

Who will forget this noble act in 2013 election? Only the intellectual voters!

Unfortunately, as has been evident in all our national [even local] elections, Pilipino electorates in general vote using emotion and gullibility. And where is this emotional vote’s leads us in terms of economic growth and political maturity? In the quagmire of economic stagnation and political instability!

It’s now time for Mr. Pimentel to make use of his remaining two years in the Senate to push for the advocacy of his father – a Unicameral Legislative Body System of governance. Prove to your constituents that you are there to serve the country, and not to perpetuate the name of Pimentel in the political arena of the Philippines.

Please do not wait for our children and grandchildren to ask; when are we going to be at par with our Asian neighbors? The time to change is now!

And indeed it would be a very noble act if all the senators will follow Mr. Zubiri and give way to a system of government that would lead us to real economic growth and political stability.
